December 4, 1991 We are happy to report that we have not had any problems running SolveIt!, version 4.2, under MS Windows 3.0 in either full screen mode or windowed mode. However, it has only been tested with Windows running in enhanced mode on a 386 computer. We would appreciate hearing from you if you have any problems. SLVIT4.PIF is the file that contains the settings that we use when running SolveIt! under Windows. To use this file, copy it to your window's subdirectory. If the subdirectory that you have SolveIt! in, is in your computer system's path statement, then all you need do is to double click on SLVIT4.PIF and SolveIt! will start in a window. (This is done from the File Manager.) (You could update a group to include SolveIt!) If SolveIt!'s directory is NOT in your path statement, then you will need to use Window's PIF editor (found in the ACCESSORY GROUP) to enter the Start Up Directory. (While in the PIF EDITOR, open SLVIT4.PIF from the file menu, enter the directory, and then save your changes.) Pine Grove Software
